TAMPA, Fla. – All six crew members on a U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft that crashed in western Iraq have been confirmed dead. The aircraft went down on March 12 while operating in friendly airspace during Operation Epic Fury. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident, but it has been confirmed that the crash was not caused by hostile or friendly fire. The names of the service members will be released 24 hours after their next of kin have been informed.
